What to include
For a wrong or surprising result, paste the page address and the exact inputs you used, plus the figure you expected. Every calculator on this site shows its formula, so a specific example lets us check the arithmetic quickly and publish a correction if one is needed.
For questions about a method, say which page you are reading. The methodology page already covers the unit factors, the MET model and the rounding rules, so a question that quotes it can usually be answered precisely.
What happens to your message
Your name, email address, chosen subject and message are stored in a private directory on the site’s server and forwarded to the operator’s mailbox so that we can reply. A hashed form of your connection address is kept for one hour to limit repeated submissions. We do not add you to any list, and the privacy policy describes this processing in full.
We prioritise error reports and privacy requests. We cannot promise a reply to every message, and we do not give personal health, medical or fitness advice.

Why is there no email address?
Publishing one attracts automated spam. The form reaches the same mailbox and includes spam protection that does not rely on tracking you.
